PECKPOST Hey. Just some random cool pictures
An 11 year old boy killed a monstrous 1050 pound hog while hunting. He shot the animal 9 times in total with a revolver. My guess is that it takes a certain amount of brutality and tenacity to
shoot it so many times and chase it for 3 hours. I somehow feel such awesome, unprecedented specimens deserve their place in the wild. And not as sausage. Find out more about it here
Oh yeah. And this painting, entitled White Center (Yellow, Pink and Lavender on Rose) by Mark Rothko sold for 72 million US
dollars last week. Called by most critics as an abstract expressionist, his paintings are meant to convey the basic human emotions of tragedy, destiny and ecstasy. Okie plenty of hype but I am so not feeling this homie's painting. And I am not feeling the price tag either. The lush creamy colours do remind me of ice-cream though. Mmm.
What do the KI ppl think of this? Perhaps it is the meaning that justifies the price tag
And this is one of the many awesomely creative pictures by photographer Jan Von Holleben. Childhood innocence is so refreshing. You can access it here
