Mm I am enjoying my MC. I've mostly been sleeping and watching dvds and it's been really relaxed. In fact I've cut down on my COD 4 significantly because my mum said that a buddy splint does NOT count as a gaming finger. Apparently all the movement could cause the bone fragment to lodge somewhere so when I told her I'd been religiously using the computer she was like o.O. And when I laughed she said "dats not a laughing matter".

Yeah but I've honestly adapted and I've tried out a new addictive game called Peggle. It's 25% skill, 10% tactics and 65% luck and it's bloody fun. My mum and I spent 4 hours on Saturday afternoon playing non-stop and getting to the last level. I think it's great that my mum is receptive to gaming, even if it's just casual games. I think she might enjoy things like this in her old age :]

Peggle owns my world

Anyway, so far this weekend I've watched 3 dvds - Malcolm X, Godfather II and No Country for Old Men.

Malcolm X was incredibly heavy. It chronicles the life of Muslim Black Activist Malcolm X. I thought Spike Lee did an admirable job at making the perspective a balanced one and Denzel Washington did a pretty good job. But still inject yourself with espresso before watching and get a copy with decent subtitles.

No Country for Old Men was a mixed experience for me. I think Javier Bardem fully deserved his Oscar and there were some of the most thrilling, suspenseful scenes I have ever seen but the plot was a little fuzzy. Upon reading some of the reviews I realised I missed out on certain themes as well.

Godfather II was brilliant. Not as breathtaking as the first one but still a great spectacle. I like Al Pacino better with his original voice.

And I'll end off with this youtube video of Ibrahimovic's backheel volley goal against Bologna. It's the best goal I've seen this season in any of Europe's 3 major leagues.
