PECKPOST
lip -> noobie grandson. Tsk
Well if I ever ponned a hospital visit (if any) with no good reason my grandma would probably summon the little strength she had left to spring off the hospital bed and roundhouse-kick my ass. And after that my mum would like twack me for good measure.
Nah just kidding shan't add insult to injury . I wish yur granny like long life and good health and Im sure you are a great grandson (no sarcasm). Ive ponned visits before as well, to be honest.
But its true that when my grandma was in hospital, she liked people to visit her. It makes a difference to old people to know that they are still valued and people still remember them. At least it does to my ama. And I remember everytime she would like start getting emotional about things and start imparting pearls of wisdom in a weepy voice e.g. "daniel, joo must obey yur parents, and joo must study hard".
On a sidenote, my dad just found a dead hornet on the floor of the computer room. About half an hour ago there were some irritating insects flying around and I thought they were like dem no-life beetles. Turns out the thing that hit the fan with a doomsday twang was a hornet. Dang! Little killer could have stuck me and left me for dead!
Anyway, read up this morning about Barack Obama, the hottest Democrat in town and also one of the possible frontrunners of the 08 presidential race. He's damn smart and good-looking he's literally african-american, he works well with republicans, and best of all hes extremely charismatic and humble. What's not to like about him? Well Oprah likes him, and that sorta adds like 90129309120412 brownie points to his case.
I like his style. He doesn't like partisan politics, he always gets the big picture filled with different perspectives, and he doesn't bullshit. Of course not to say he's flawless. He fudges certain big issues, and he treads a dangerous line by trying to make everyone happy. You can check out the Time article about him online @ (hehe to the few that are interested)

Anyway heres a video clip of him on the Daily Show. So charismatic and funny
And here is something more mainstream. All American Rejects - It Ends Tonight. Love the tune
